This ministry is finished for the 2021 season.  Please check back in 2022 to see how you can help!  We usually start this in October :)

Samaritan’s Purse collects and distributes gift-filled shoeboxes to children in poverty around the world and shares the gospel with them.  We are packing and collecting packed shoeboxes at SAC!

How you can help:

1. Pray – for hearts open to the gospel; for the collection, transportation, and safe distribution of Christmas Shoeboxes worldwide; for the workers discipling those who receive boxes

2. Donate items for the shoeboxes - Gift donations can be placed in the tote in the entryway.  Loose items need to be received by 11/08/2020...the AWANA kids will be packing the boxes on 11/09/2020.

Suggested gifts include:

Toys (stuffed animals, dolls, inflatable ball w/pump), school supplies (pens, pencils & sharpeners, crayons, paper, etc.), non-liquid hygiene items (toothbrush, bar soap, combs, washcloths, etc.), accessories (t-shirts, socks, hats, sunglasses), flashlights & extra batteries.

*Please do not include war-related items (toy guns, knives, military figures), food items, candy toothpaste, liquids, lotions, vitamins, or breakables

3. Pack your own box and drop off at the church – by 11/10/2020

4. Shipping & Discipleship - It costs $9 to ship each box internationally.  Also an additional $6 per box helps with follow-up discipleship.  Donations toward these costs can be placed in the offering, marked for “Christmas Shoeboxes”.
